Well I was wide awake at 4am this morning worrying about money, the lack of it and how to make some money.
Decided that I may as well just get up and get online to take my mind off everything.
I wonder if people who win millions on the lottery worry about anything...perhaps they wake at 4am trying to work out what to do with all that money?
This eve I ruined my diet by eating some pizza and a choc ice having being really careful for the last 4 or 5 days.
Ashes to Ashes is on TV but I'm giving it a miss-I'm not enjoying it half as much as Life On Mars. It's kind of weird with Gene Hunt without Sam. A bit like Tom without Jerry, just seems odd.

managed to buy a dress this morning from Fenwicks-I think it fits in somewhere style wise between trying to look like I did when I was 19 and not trying to be too much like my Gran looked when she hit her eighties.I'll attempt to get a photo of it later and add it here but I am very technically challenged so it may not work.
I think there is a huge gap in the market where clothes for the 5o year old woman is concerned.I know however much Mac make up I slap on and however low the lighting is I'll never look like Olivia Newton John in Grease again but I don't want to look like Kathy Bates in Misery either.....come to think of it I didn't even look like Olivia when I was twenty!
I've decided after trying on numerous clothes and just about being able to squash myself in to my usual size 10 that the diet must start. No more ice cream after dinner and bags of crisps whilst dinner is cooking. So is staggered out of Tesco laden with bags of grapes, peaches , Special K and other healthy items of food.
Have you ever noticed that anything that looks really scrumptious and tasted divine is bad for you and contains billions of calories? Why can't cheescake be top on the list of foods most likely to make you healthy and be low calorie too? When I sit here craving something it's never cottage cheese but often Ben and Jerry's....I suppose I'd better make a move now and try and enjoy a peach and a peppermint tea

I always enjoy reading other peoples' Blogs and fancy just dabbling with my own. It's going to be a) pretty boring and b) probably not kept up to date. I am full of good intentions but I'll give it a go. Happy Sunday everyone and let's hope the sun shines all day
